No pantomime this year? Oh yes there is – just not quite the same…
How about re-visiting some of FMTC’s most recent pantomimes on the big screen? The Frome Musical Theatre Company will be showing screenings of some of their most recent productions, Jack and the Beanstalk, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty & the Beast in a socially distanced seating arrangement at the Assembly Rooms in the New Year.
The company says, “Join in the panto fun and help us raise some money for the wonderful Memorial Theatre which just won’t be the same this year without all the families flooding through the doors to see the annual family pantomime.
“Advanced booking only from the Frome Memorial Theatre website www.fmt. website or by calling the box office on 01373 462795. There is limited seating available, so book soon to avoid disappointment. Socially distanced seating in household bubbles (maximum of 6 people). Everyone will require a ticket including children to ensure Covid safety and face masks will need to be worn.
“This is a fundraising event for the Memorial Theatre.
“Please read our separate Covid-19 event guidelines on the Memorial Theatre website. “
The pantomime DVD play backs will be presented on 23rd/24th January 30th/31st January at 11.00am, 2.30pm and 6.00pm daily at the Assembly Rooms, behind the Memorial Theatre, £5 admission.
