A CHOIR from Hexham, Northumbria, will be performing at Christ Church, Christchurch Street West, this weekend.
Antiphon are touring the South West, singing choral evensong services, they will also be performing at Wells and Salisbury Cathedrals.
Organisers say, “Music will include canticles by Noble in B Minor, Haydn’s ‘The heavens are telling’ and much loved hymns, ‘For the beauty of the earth’ and ‘The day thou gavest’.
“They will be singing at Christ Church, Frome at 6pm on Sunday 26th May, Rogation Sunday, when it is traditional to bless the growing crops.
“Admission is free. Tea and biscuits will be served at the end. Do come and support these visiting musicians!”
