Congratulations to Oakfield Academy Year 8 pupils Vinnie Milsom, Lennon Cotteral and Frankie Milsom who recently qualified as part of the Frome Fire Cadets winning team to represent the country in the International CTIF 21st Youth Firefighter competition following a national event in Birmingham.
The CTIF is the International Association of Fire and Rescue Services. The competition will be held at Villach in Austria in July this year.
The cadets will also be taking part in a cultural exhibition to celebrate the home area of each nation taking part, plus many activities to encourage interaction with the teams from other countries including Europe, USA and Russia.
This will be an experience that will last a life time for the cadets taking part. All of the staff and pupils at Oakfield Academy wish them good luck!
