Earlier in the month the Ladies ran a fun competition ‘Last of the Summer Whine’, to help raise more money for Dorothy House. Each lady gave a donation to allow them to have a good ‘whine’ during their game of golf. The format was ‘Snakes & Ladders’ where stableford points earned on the ‘ladder’ holes are doubled and if no points are scored on ‘snake’ holes then all stableford points are lost. Quite a challenge! The best score of the day went to Jackie Pudney who achieved 57 points.
