FROME opticians, O’Toid Opticians has won ‘Best Local Optometry Practice in Somerset’ at the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards 2016.
The small independent opticians, run by business owner and optometrist Patrick O’Toid and manager Rachel Farleigh, were nominated anonymously for the award.
Manager Rachel Farleigh said, “We were told that we were nominated and then shortlisted. Patrick then had various conversations with the people who run the award, being asked questions about the practice and how we run it, then a few months later we were informed we had won the award. We are delighted to have won, especially being a little practice in a small town run by just the two of us, it feels amazing to have the customer service and care we give, acknowledged on this scale.”
The Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Awards are run by GHP magazine – a global information sharing platform and a multi-disciplinary members community for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
