Join FromeFM and their gang of friendly DJs as they ‘Party in the Park’ on Saturday 1st July in Victoria Park, Frome. The fun starts at midday and runs right through to 6pm.
Entry to FromeFM’s Party in the Park is free and is shaping up to be a great day out for all the family. All your favourite FromeFM DJs will be playing live on air in the main radio marquee. Listen out for breakfast show host Bernie Lyons, Matt and Suzi Sims who will be delving back into the best of the 80’, along with Andy Wrintmore, Izzy Hughes, Tim Addams, Paul Tozer, Ian Leak and ‘Chemical’ Steve Barton.
As well as the live broadcast tent, the bandstand will be hosting a fabulous and funky selection of live music from local artists. There will be a host of activities on offer for everyone to get involved with, including a family quiz and ‘draw the FromeFM logo’ competition. Lots of stalls as well, and a wide array of refreshments will be on sale at the Victoria Park café on the day.
Stalls and activities will be provided by local community groups and associations, and include lantern-making, face painting, prize raffle to name just a few!
Make sure you visit the FromeFM ‘shout out’ booth, and record your message, poem or dedication, which will be played out live on air during one of FromeFM’s breakfast shows.
Funding for FromeFM’s Party in the Park was secured from Frome Town Council via their participatory budgeting scheme and it’s all set to be a great way to spend your Saturday.
