LOCAL actor/writer/director Georgiana Neilson-Toy has a new production ‘Ghost Voices,’ described as an exciting immersive theatre project, which is touring this month.
It will be performed at the Merlin Theatre in Frome on Tuesday 30th October.
Georgiana plays Ellen Blythe, a historian who enjoys giving talks on history and ghost stories. However, one night her presentation ends up being a full blown haunting!
The production team consists of six crew members and seven West Country professional actors playing true life historical characters from the Roman period to World War I. The show, which was researched and written by Georgiana, was a sell out for the 2016 Frome Festival and promises to be a hit again this year.
Georgiana also works at Bath College and the Merlin Theatre as a drama leader and has written one musical, and several plays. ‘Ghost Voices’ is aimed for those aged 12 years and upward – although it has a lot of comedy, it also has some hair raising moments.
