Frome will again play host to a spectacular live event as CSF Professional Wrestling returns on Sunday 8th March, to present another action-packed edition of ‘Wresting Showdown.’
The organisation started up in 1998 and have been holding live events all over the country, including Frome where three live events take place at the popular Cheese and Grain each year. The first event here took place way back in 2004 and now on March 8th one of the biggest to date will be hosted in town as many new top wrestling names are set to appear at the venue.
The afternoon of high flying, action packed, bone crunching family entertainment will see a total of 16 larger than life international stars collide in a total of five pro bouts. The prestigious All Nations Championship will be defended as reigning Champion: JD Knight will be at ‘Showdown’ to defend his title and belt, however, the week before in Weston-super-Mare he will face ‘English Lion’ Eddie Ryan in a Steel Cage match! If JD Knight does lose his title to Eddie Ryan, this means that the new champion would be in Frome to defend the title.
Other names signed to appear include the incredible, gravity-defying Jake McCluskey as he makes his very first appearance to face ‘The Fox’, plus ‘Country Big’ Josh Knott, Saime Sahin, Bane ’n’ Bronson, Dan Splash, Lomaxx, Joel Redman (first ever WWE NXT Tag Champion with Neville), Don Conway, The Saint and Lance Cole. If that wasn’t enough, crowd favourite White Tiger will appear and un-mask in front of the live audience. The high flying sensation has kept his identity a secret by wearing and competing under his famous mask for many years, but after losing a recent title bout, he must now remove and wrestle without it. After many appearances in Frome, we will now see his true identity.

Event management say, “Over the years, many household names have been in action here with CSF. WWE Legends such as the Nasty Boys, Chris Masters and MVP have all appeared in town, as has this year’s WWE Royal Rumble winner, Drew McIntyre, who competed with us during his young career.
“We have always received a fantastic response when we visit town. We can’t thank our fans enough for their continued and wonderful support in Frome. The company turns 22 years old this year and we continue to hold regular events at the Cheese and Grain. We advise early booking for March 8th as all CSF events here sell out. We have another huge line up ready to do battle including the debut of Jake McCluskey and the un-masking of White Tiger. We look forward to visiting again in March.”
Doors for the As Seen On TV action open at 4.30pm, with Showtime starting at 5pm. The event will finish by 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 for all ages (ringside seating also available to book online). Call 01373 455420 or directly from CSF online with no booking fee: www.wrestlingtickets.on line. All ages welcome.
