A QUIZ team from the Cross Keys in Blatchbridge won a ‘Quiz Off’ against 16 teams from across the South West, taking home the winning trophy.
‘The Numbnuts’, a team of 8 and frequent quizzers at the Cross Keys, travelled to Bath Racecourse on Saturday 5th January to compete against 16 other quiz teams from Bath, Bristol and Corsham.
Getting practice in every other Thursday at the Cross Keys proved valuable for the team as they walked away with the winning trophy and tickets to the races at Bath Racecourse.
If you would like to join in with quizzing at the Cross Keys, run by Lets Get Quizzical UK, the next events are on Thursday 17th January and Thursday 31st January.
Each fortnight, it costs £2 per person with cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place and a cash bonus round each week. The quiz starts at 7.30pm.
