FROME College welcomed a group of Chinese students and their teachers to experience a day in the life of an English student at the school.
The Chinese students were from the Beijing Experimental Language School and during their three-day stay, the students were partnered with students from Frome, shadowing their normal lessons.
The Chinese students said they enjoyed all of their lessons and showed particular skill in the arts and maths lessons.
At the end of their stay, Ms Reynolds, principal at Frome College, presented the Chinese students with certificates. The visitors then gave the Frome students gifts, and email addresses were exchanged.
The school said, “It was a very positive experience for all. Thank you to the students who looked after the Chinese students and to the teachers who welcomed them into their classroom.”
