Chester House Social Club is holding a skittles night in aid of local cancer counselling charity, We Hear You (WHY), on Friday 29th March.
Tickets for the event cost £10 plus booking fee and include a Ploughman’s supper. Guests can come individually or in groups, as people will be divided into two large teams. All proceeds from the event go towards free professional counselling for children, young people and adults affected by a life-threatening diagnosis.
Fundraising officer Helen White says, “Come and join us for an evening of good old Somersetshire fun! This will be a fantastic event in its own right, but we’re also hoping it will link in with another record-breaking summer with Rachel Clark and her team, who have applied for permission from Guinness to try to break a world record on a skittling theme in June. So, come on down to one of the best skittle alleys in Frome and join in the ultimate warm up gig! No specific teams required as we’ll be playing one-on-one – and those diehard players can even stick around for a game of ‘killer’ at the end and a chance to win the kitty!”
Tickets for the skittles night can be booked at Eventbrite.co.uk via the link on the WHY website at wehearyou.org.uk/ fundraising/skittles-night-for-why.
