THE Frome Society’s programme of Saturday afternoon talks in the Assembly Rooms behind the Memorial Theatre, continues on Saturday 17th February at 2.30pm with a talk by Abigail Willis on the glorious gardens of Somerset.
Speaker Abigail who lives in Castle Cary has written several books on gardens and her latest, The Secret Gardens of Somerset, is a tour through many of the county’s most memorable and inspirational gardens. “In her talk, Abigail will describe these special gardens, meeting devoted owners, custodians and head gardeners to reveal their garden’s history, design and plant collections,” says the society.
“Visitors are very welcome to come to the society’s talks, but are asked to pay £5.”
