A PARTY with dance music DJs is being held at the Cheese and Grain next weekend to raise money for the Jamie Mines appeal.
The ‘Spring Bash’ will be on Saturday 22nd April from 9pm until 2am, and feature DJ sets from The Plump DJs, Will White Propellerheads, Morton Mixhard, Justin Saane and special guests.
Tickets cost £19 in advance or £25 on the door, and £4 from each will go to the fundraiser for local man, Jamie Mines, who is recovering after losing three limbs in an electric shock last year.
Plump DJs are an English dance music duo consisting of Lee Rous and Andy Gardner, considered to be early pioneers of the breakbeat genre in late 90s.
Will White Propellerheads rose to fame in 1997 with a remix of John Barry’s ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ for James Bond tribute album, Shaken & Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project.
Tickets are limited, and are available from www.cheeseandgrain.com or 01373 455420.
