The Cheese and Grain will be throwing a special St Patrick’s Day party at the venue on Saturday 16th March.
The event, which will feature five of the country’s top regarded singer-songwriters, will be headlined by Jay McAllister better known by his stage name Beans On Toast.
Over the course of his huge career Beans has become something of an unexpected cult national treasure. A consistent and reliable modern-day troubadour, not afraid to speak his mind; always touring, always writing, recording and releasing music.
Having played every festival under the sun, Beans is one of the most in-demand modern folk acts currently touring the UK. Having just completed a UK tour in support of his latest album “A Bird In The Hand” with many shows included Bristol selling out and will be heading to Europe and Australia directly after this special one-off non-tour show.
Beans is joined by the ever popular Gaz Brookfield, who has reached iconic status in his own right due to his non-stop touring schedule and infectious live show. Gaz remains the only unsigned solo artist to sell out The Fleece, Bristol – a feat he as now achieved five times, He has also racked up well over 1,000 live shows under his belt over the course of his career.
