FROME’S Merlin Theatre is pledging to donate a subsidised ticket for every ticket purchased for the 6th, 7th or 8th December performances of its Christmas show, Peter Pan.
For every ticket bought for the show the theatre will offer one to a local family who would not otherwise be able to afford the trip.
Creative director at the Merlin, Claudia Pepler said, “Bring a little fairy dust into someone’s life this Christmas – by giving the gift of theatre! This is a beautiful adaptation, taking the form of a musical with a stunning score and fun-filled script. A real community piece, this production has gathered artists and designers, performers and theatre lovers from the community to present a glorious piece of theatre.
“Now we ask you to consider what you can do to make a child smile this Christmas. The Merlin will donate a subsidised ticket for every ticket purchased for the 6th, 7th & 8th December performances.”
Tickets cost £8.50 and are available at www.merlintheatre.co.uk or on 01373 465949. Peter Pan runs from 3rd to 10th December.
