IT was a bumper Christmas for Fair Frome who would like to extend huge thanks to Frome for its ‘overwhelming generosity’ to local people in need.
“The lovely Christmas goodies meant we have been able to deliver 200 extra parcels this Christmas,” said Wendy Miller-Williams, coordinator for the group.
“We’d like to thank local people for their support over Christmas and for the invaluable cash and food donations throughout the year.
“This week, we have just a few urgent items to stock up on for the food bank: Sugar, jam, coffee, tinned cold meat and tinned hot meat.”
Their office, at 5 Palmer Street, Frome BA11 1DS, is usually staffed at 9am – 12 noon Monday to Thursday. If they are not in, the reception staff in the Town Council office in Palmer Street are always happy to help. For more details, contact them at: info@fairfrome. org or call 07714 587129.

They work alongside communities, families, individuals, volunteers, partner agencies and other stakeholders to create joined up, sustainable services, support innovation, raise awareness of the issues of poverty and increase participation across Frome.
