‘The Big Gathering’ at the Cheese and Grain on Saturday 18th May, 10.00am-4.00pm, offers a full, varied and engaging programme for men of all ages, promising laughter, engaging stories and encouragement to make the most out of life.
The celebrity line-up includes Steve Legg, a magician, comedian and author who has made many TV appearances (‘He is hilarious’ Bear Ghrylls); Linvoy Primus MBE, a former Premiership footballer with Portsmouth FC (‘No player has been more popular’) and Mike Hill, former Bishop of Bristol, author, international speaker and life-long supporter of Manchester United.
A good selection of resources and food will be available. This event is being hosted by local MenUnited groups based in Frome, Trowbridge, Bath and Midsomer Norton and has been funded by generous donations from the men in Frome. It is free for all who come.
It would help the organisers if you book a place (see www.menunitedtogether.net) but this is not essential. Simply come on the day. The Big Gathering will be followed directly by a live public showing of the FA Cup Final for those who wish to stay.
