WOMEN of Frome will be holding a free discussion event at the Sound Training Centre to celebrate International Women’s Day this March.
The event, which will begin at 6pm on Monday 9th March, will be an opportunity for local women to talk, share, and reflect on issues affecting their daily lives.
Over the course of an elegant evening dinner there will be talks by women of differing ages, including a nurse from Bath BMI to talk about breast care.
Organiser Lucinda Garthwaite said, “Our intention is to strip away many of the women’s rights agendas that usually play out at these kinds of events, and simply discuss the everyday realities of being a woman today, both the joys and the challenges.”
