It can be tricky to find things for your little ones to do during half term, so the Merlin Theatre have lined up some treats to keep everybody entertained.
On Tuesday 31st October there are a few spaces left for their popular annual Thriller Workshop. It’s the perfect half-term scary treat. In the morning you’ll learn a Halloween-themed dance routine, then in the afternoon you’ll be transformed into a ‘real, living, breathing zombie’ ready to perform to parents and friends at 3pm. You’ll need to take a ripped up t-shirt or costume, snacks and lunch, but terrifying make up will be included.
The theatres says, “We have also got two great kids performances during half term week. Firstly, Cbeebies’ Patrick Lynch will be returning on Sunday 27th October at 3pm with Lyngo Theatre and a beautiful adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk to surprise and delight. Parents will enjoy this clever storytelling just as much as children!
“Then on Monday 28th at 2pm, things start to get ghoulish with Sticky Ends: The Spooky Edition from Brave Bold Drama. It’s a show of spooky stories and songs for modern children. Don’t worry; although it’ll be gently gruesome, there’s nothing scary to alarm small ones.”
