It’s panto time – oh yes it is! And tickets are flying out of the box office for the Frome Musical Theatre Company’s production of Aladdin, a traditional family pantomime.
Rehearsals are in full swing for the production, which takes place at the Frome Memorial Theatre from 28th December – 2nd January.
Full of Eastern promise, this classic ‘rags to riches’ tale of Aladdin is packed with adventure, fun and of course, a little magic while staying true to the spirit of the traditional story.
Complete with a magic carpet ride, a sparkling cave of jewels, a greedy baddie and a Royal Wedding, audiences will be whisked off to Old Peking where we follow Aladdin and his friends on a journey to win the heart of the beautiful Princess.
The award-winning Frome Musical Theatre Company pantomime promises bright costumes, glitter, colourful sets, a witty script, a variety of musical numbers and of course audience participation.
