LOCAL singer, Tom Carpenter, has been performing at weddings, corporate events and social occasions since the end of 2008 and his career has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Tom has made a number of TV appearances, most notably his time on ‘The Voice UK’ with Will.I.am calling him ‘freaking awesome’ and Rita Ora saying he is a ‘talented inspiration’
Tom’s love of swing/ jazz music was brought about by his grandfather who used to play in a swing band some years ago. When Tom was diagnosed with tourettes in 2007 it gave him the impetus to choose singing as a career. Only 12 months later he headlined his own concert at the Frome Memorial Theatre, in aid of Tourettes Action,
Tom is playing the Cornerhouse on Saturday 18th February from 9pm where we will create a cabaret atmosphere and he will be singing some classic love songs to celebrate St Valentine’s Day.
