Tool hire company expands services

INDEPENDENT tool and plant hire specialist, Somerset Hire Services, has added another service to the range on offer, with the acquisition of garden machinery repair business, Oakley Garden Machinery. 

Formerly located on Grove Lane in the Marston Trading Estate, Oakley Garden Machinery, has moved two minutes ‘around the corner’ and is now operating from the same location as Somerset Hire Services on Whitworth Road, which is also on the Marston Trading Estate.

Couple Adam and Karen Oakley, who started the business 17 years ago, have moved on to another venture after selling, whilst the Oakley workshop staff have been retained. 

And whilst Oakley Garden Machinery has a new home and new owners, the ethos of the business remains the same, ‘great customer service comes first’. 

Oakley Garden Machinery supplies and services major brands of both domestic and commercial garden machines across Wiltshire and Somerset.  

“We will do what we can to repair and service machines at a reasonable price and to a high standard,” says director of Somerset Hire Services, Luke George. “ We offer exceptional customer service and are now the only garden machinery repair business left in Frome.”
