Two new Chester House Snooker Club members, both named Mark, reached the final of the latest Saturday night snooker event, with Mark Phillips winning the event.
Both players were playing in their first club event. The usual round robin format was used, with table winners going through to the semi finals and final.
The table winners were : – Table 1.Nev Ward, Table 2. Mark Lloyd, Table 3. Mark Phillips, Table 4. Steve Clarkson.
The club says, “There was a really good turnout again, indicating the popularity of these evenings which includes the usual tasty supper supplied by Annie or Jackie.
