SELWOOD Parish Council recently organised the planting of an oak tree in commemoration of the accession to the throne of King Charles III.
The tree was planted on the green next to St. Katherine’s Church in East Woodlands.
Selwood Parish Council says, “As part of a very simple ceremony John Morgan was invited to symbolically plant the tree. John has recently retired from the parish council after many years of service to the community.”
