MEMBERS of Somerton and Frome Labour Party, Frome Friends of Palestine, local Quakers and members of the Green Party plus others came together on 15th May to mount a vigil at Boyle Cross.
Gerard Crawshaw explains, “This was to focus attention on the recent outbreak of violence between Israel and Palestine and to encourage the UK government to use its best efforts to find a lasting peace which will benefit both sides.”
