Frome has been linked for many years with three twin towns in mainland Europe – Château-Gontier in France, Murrhardt in Germany and Rabka-Zdròj in Poland.
Each of these towns are twinned with each other and have an active programme of formal and informal exchanges to encourage friendship across Europe.
Come to an open meeting of the Frome Twinning Association to find out more about these towns, to hear about the work done over the last year by the Twinning Association to support these links, and meet members of the association who can talk about their personal experiences of twinning. 2019 will be a significant year because delegations from each of the three towns will be coming to Frome over the weekend of September 19th – 23rd for the annual meeting of the twinned towns.
The open meeting will be at Trinity Church Hall starting at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 6th March. Light refreshments will be provided. At the end of this meeting, the Twinning Association will hold its Annual General Meeting.
