Frome’s Westway Precinct is a trove of national and independent shops; packed full of individual charm. The range of independent shops include a local independent butcher at the new Co-op store; contemporary and traditional art prints at Studio Prints; all your sporting needs at Intersport and everything you need for your home and garden at Millers Housewares. They are backed by a host of national chains including Specsavers, Argos, M&Co, making it a great destination for all your shopping needs. And, the precinct also boasts a traditional cinema, showing the latest blockbusters. Manager of the Westway Precinct, Kay Chapman, said, “There’s a lot going on all the time. The individual businesses all have some great offers on and it’s worth popping down to see. There’s a real sense of community feel here and the shopkeepers are all very happy to help out. “The precinct holds a very diverse range of shops, and I’m certain there’s something for everyone.” The Frome market has extended into the Westway precinct, from its Market Yard base. It offers a wide range of stalls, each with their own unique goods. “Frome’s a market town, so it makes sense to have the market run through the Westway Precinct. I believe they both complement each other,” said Kay.
