WITH Christmas fast approaching, people in Frome are being reminded that there are plenty of great Christmas gift ideas and festive items you can pick up in town.
Frome mayor, cllr Sheila Gore, is encouraging people to shop locally to support the town. Cllr Gore said, “Frome town centre is bustling with many great independent shops and is the perfect place to find that special Christmas gift for your friends and loved ones. We are lucky to have such a wonderful variety of independent shops and with so much choice on our doorstep, why shop elsewhere?
“Christmas shopping for presents, decorations and food for the festive season are all fantastically well catered for in Frome. And if you don’t want to cook, we have great venues that can be booked for the family or business get-togethers.
“Most money spent in a locally-owned shop stays in the local economy. So let’s support local businesses who help keep our town centre alive and make this Christmas one to remember.”
