International professional wrestling returns to the Cheese and Grain, Frome, with a ‘smack-down’ this month as another live edition of ‘Wrestling Showdown’ will take place on Sunday 25th March.
The star-studded, high- flying, bone-crunching afternoon of family entertainment will see 12 top stars from the over the top world of wrestling do battle in five action-packed professional bouts. CSF Wrestling is now in its19th year of hosting live events and after holding thousands of bouts, this is one of the biggest line-ups they have ever brought to Frome!
The feature presentation of the afternoon will see the FreeSports 5 Star Wrestling Champion ‘English Lion’ Eddie Ryan put his title on the line against two-time former All Nations Champion: Kay Jutler! Eddie Ryan won the championship on live TV just two weeks ago, as part of the FreeSports channel 5 Star Wrestling event held in Dublin. This is the very first time a 5 Star title has been defended outside the promotion and it is happening right here in Frome with CSF!
Also on the bill, the ever-popular Charlie Sterling returns to town to face Psycho Phillips who will be making his first appearance here, plus masked sensation Mega Pegasus squares off against wrestling bad boy Tiger Ali. The family-friendly event will also see Tag Team action as The Brothers Awe debut to face veterans Bane and Bronson, with popular female star Bobbi Tyler also making her Frome debut as she faces Zan Phoenix in a women’s division contest.
The special afternoon show will see doors open at 3pm with Showtime at 3.30pm (finish 6pm).
