TWENTY years ago, Ruth Brooks began a spectacular journey starting her own business within the catering industry and it has brought joy, incredible events and unforgettable memories for her, the family and her team of passionate staff at Mrs B’s Caring Catering.
With over 50 years’ experience of cooking and catering for small, intimate events and parties to hosting countless fantastic dinners and celebrations for hundreds of people. Ruth and her team have served many people over the years with fantastic food and customer service. Local businesses and communities have adored all their hard work and still continue to use Mrs B’s Caring Catering.
The family run business have many dedicated and friendly members within the team, Mrs B’s Caring Catering have been catering for weddings, functions, celebrations, funerals and unique events throughout the South West and the bundles of positive and cheerful testimonials from their customers both past and present shows just how hard working, professional and dedicated the team are.
Ruth Brooks, the founder of Mrs B’s Caring Catering and Mrs B herself, first started her catering career as a cook at the College of Home Economics in Bath, whilst then progressing her talented skills at the likes of Bath University, Wallington & Weston and Wiltshire County Council and finally jumping into the world of Mrs B’s back in 1997 and hasn’t looked back since. With the support of her family, friends and staff Mrs B’s was an instant success.
James Brooks, Ruth’s son, has always been involved with the company from the age of 12 helping with events and functions, he came to Mrs B’s as a Director back in 2013 and has developed the business further, growing a fantastic team of devoted and enthusiastic staff.
The business operates from a modern, specially converted premise on the outskirts of Frome where it has a purpose-built kitchen to be able to provide an excellent service to their clients. The business premises was also home to the celebration party that happened on October 1st 2017 where past, present and future customers of Mrs B’s all gathered to celebrate 20 successful years in business. The team kept everyone fed with canapes, drinks and entertainment throughout the day with performances from Sticks & Keys and Chris Holmes at Vision Entertainments.
