Frome rugby player, Aelfric Bidder, has been selected to join Bath Rugby’s Under 18s squad ahead of the new season in the Premiership Rugby Next Gen U18 League.
Aelfric started his journey playing in the mini and juniors club at Frome Rugby Football Club. “He consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, commitment and passion for the game,” said Matt Warnock, a spokesperson for the club.
“His inclusion in the Bath Rugby U18s setup is a testament to the years of hard work and dedication he has shown both on and off the pitch. Alongside his development at Frome, Aelfric also represents Beechen Cliff School, where he continues to refine his game and stand out as a promising young talent.
“We are always incredibly proud to see one of our own take this next step and look forward to watching his continued progress within the elite development pathway.
