Monthly ‘meet the councillors’ sessions continue

Frome town councillors have been ‘popping up’ at Frome’s Saturday market since last autumn and will be available once a month throughout 2026 for anyone to have a chat.

The next ‘meet the councillors’ session will be at Frome Carnival Fun Day on 6th June from 12pm to 2pm at the council’s stall, with games and information about services for local families.

‘Meet the councillors’ sessions are open to all residents and provide an opportunity to ask questions, raise local issues, share feedback on town matters or simply find out more about the work of the council. No appointment is needed; people are welcome to drop in at any point during the sessions.

Councillor Anita Collier said, “These sessions are a really valuable way for councillors to stay connected and hear directly from residents about what matters most to them. Whether people have a specific concern, an idea they’d like to share or simply want to find out more about what the council does, everyone is welcome. Don’t forget you’re always welcome to attend council meetings, in person or via Zoom and call or email us. Alternatively, drop into the town hall during office hours Monday to Friday to chat to our friendly staff team and leave messages for us if you’d like to.”

Call Frome Town Council on 01373 465757 or email info@frometowncouncil.gov.uk.

The town hall is on Christchurch Street West, BA11 1EB, opposite Frome Memorial Theatre and is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (4.30pm on Fridays). Find information about forthcoming council meetings at tinyurl.com/ftc-meeting-schedule
