A record number of groups have been awarded grants by Frome Community Lottery for supporting the town and surrounding area.
Grants were given to 13 groups, which were awarded a total of £6,267 at a celebratory gathering hosted by non-profit organisation Edventure.
The groups include Broadway Community Gardens, Dogs for Health, Coleford Rocks, Frome Festival, Fromebase, Frome Birth Talk, Frome Tennis Club, Frome Carnival Club, The Pod, Upton Noble Primary School, Time Is Precious, We Hear You and Rode & Norton St Philip Schools Federation, which were all recipients of monetary grants to help support and develop their good work.
The event brought together dedicated representatives from each group, who shared insights into their projects and the positive impact they have on the community.

As well as helping to support local charities and groups, Frome Community Lottery players are also in with a chance of winning up to £25,000 in the weekly draw.
