An evening with author Kim Willis, exploring powerful but often overlooked female figures from ancient British history, is being held in Frome this month.
Hunting Raven Books will welcome the writer on Monday 15th June at The Archangel, where she will discuss her latest work, No Fair Maidens, described as, “A wild journey with the lost goddesses of Britain”.
Kim will be joined in conversation by Frome-based fellow Penguin author Alice Albinia, with the event also including a question-and-answer session and book signing.

“Through the threads of folklore, mythology, memoir, history and landscape, No Fair Maidens identifies a better way of being for modern women, and crafts a new vision for Britain where women are – and always were – a force of nature,” said Abi Kohlhoff from Hunting Raven Books.
The event starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets cost £3. To book, see the advert below or for more details contact Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books in Cheap Street, telephone 01373 473111.
