The Frome Society’s winter programme of Saturday afternoon talks will return on Saturday 3rd October.
Reverend Seamus Hargrave, Vicar of St John the Baptist Church, will restart the programme with his talk on ‘Fashionable Faith’, discussing the vestments and robes used in church and explaining the significance of their design.
Organiser John Peverley said, “The church is one of the few institutions today where fashion and styles from past centuries are still regularly used and appreciated.”
The lectures take place in the Assembly Rooms at the rear of Frome Memorial Theatre, starting at 2.30pm.
Visitors are welcome, but advance booking is required at www.fsls.org.uk.
Tickets for visitors cost £5.
