FROME Lions raised £248 at a recent quiz night held at the Frome Rugby Club.
The winning team, with an impressive 101 points, was comprised of Philip Ashworth, Bob Ashworth, June Ashworth and Jeremy Clatworthy. Runners up, with 89 points, were Mark Symes, Dave Whitehead, Neil Crawford and Darren Golay. The picture round was won by Bill Savage, Paul Ruddick, Steve Fry and Steve Hill, who identified 22 out of 30 pictures.
Both winning teams donated their winnings back to the Lions, making a valuable contribution to the funds raised. All funds raised go towards local good causes that the Lions Club supports.
