A Frome family support charity is holding a Community Day on Saturday 7th February.
Purple Elephant Family Support is inviting all families in Frome and the surrounding areas to the event at the Key Centre, Feltham Lane, from 10am to 1pm.
The informal event is open to anyone new to Purple Elephant’s services, as well as those who have taken part in holiday activities, the Children’s Festival, Stay and Play sessions or befriending support. Visitors can offer suggestions and feedback on which services and events are most useful, enjoyable or important for local families.

The charity is also encouraging volunteers, professionals with experience in child and family support, and representatives from similar organisations to attend.
Service Manager Sue Willis said, “As well as creative and play activities, there will be refreshments, including a buffet lunch. It’s a chance to meet our staff and trustees and talk about priorities for families in Frome.
“We want to know the biggest challenges people are facing, and this will help shape our future services. It’s informal and fun, with games for both children and adults, and no post-it notes, discussion tables or whiteboards.”
The Purple Elephant Family Support Community Day is free to attend and families can drop in at any time. More information is available at www.purpleelephant.org.uk.
