THE next climate change talk will be held this Thursday, 23rd November, at the Town Hall, 7pm.
‘Global Energy Trends’ is the third in the series of talks by Nikki Jones. If you are interested in global warming, climate change and how we use energy, this is for you.
Roger Saunders who helped to organise the series said, ‘Nikki is a fantastic speaker and we are lucky that she is giving her time for free to raise awareness and collect donations for Solar Aid. Climate change can be a confusing subject, but it is an issue that affects us all as our climate begins to change. Locally flood risks are increasing and air pollution is high in many areas. Do join us for an informative and interesting evening.”
The talks naturally end with group discussion. You don’t need to be an expert, everyone is welcome, including young people over the age of 12. The event is completely free but please book your place by calling 01373 465757 or email info@frometowncouncil. gov.uk
