FREE health walks are being run in Frome to help local people stay fit and healthy at no cost.
On Mondays (excluding Bank Holidays) a short easy walk sets off from the Cheese & Grain at 10.30am and walks 1-1.5 miles in 30-45 minutes.
On Wednesdays a slighter more difficult 45-50 minute walk takes place from Frome Medical Centre starting at 9.30am.
Then on Fridays, walks generally ranging from three to five miles set off from different places around the area. All walks on a Friday start at 10.30am.
The next walk is this Friday, 27th April, with Dorothy-Anne and her ‘Quirks of Frome’ walk on paths and quiet roads with some steps and hills.
Around 2.5 miles long, the walk starts at the Cheese & Grain. Meet at 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
On Friday 5th May, join Gill for a 90-minute walk at Corsley Heath with two steep hills, a couple of stiles and mud.
Meet at 10.15am, parking at or near the Royal Oak bus shelter.
