Patients invited to feedback event at Frome Medical Practice

Frome Medical Practice is inviting patients to a Patient Feedback Evening on Wednesday 24th September from 6.30pm to 8pm. 

Patients are welcome to come and share their feedback on what is working well at the practice, where they’d like to see improvements and any ideas they have for the future.

It is also an opportunity to meet partners, members of the practice management team, representatives of the Patient Participation Group, the Green and Healthy Frome team and the Digital Health team, who will be available to answer any questions about digital technology.

Managing Partner, Karen Creffield, said, “We would love to see as many patients as possible join us for our patient feedback evening. You don’t need to come for the whole event, just drop in when you can between 6.30pm and 8pm. Practice partners and managers will be there to welcome you and we’ll invite you to share feedback on several different topics, which we estimate will take about half an hour of your time.

“The input we get from patients at events like this is invaluable. As a result of our last patient feedback event in 2024, we were able to make some immediate changes to our systems that patients told us would be helpful. We also took feedback on board to help us with future improvements at the practice. We can update patients on some of that, including how we are planning to make the online appointment request forms easier to use, when we meet in September.”   

Members of the Patient Participation Group will be at the event and available to talk with patients. A spokesperson for the Patient Participation Group (PPG) said, “The PPG meets regularly with the practice team and we share feedback from other patients where we can, but these patient feedback evenings are a fantastic opportunity for more patients to share their thoughts with the members of the practice team.

“The wider input from patients is really important and we are delighted the practice hosts these events so the patient voice can be heard. Previous events have been hugely successful, so I would encourage patients to come along and chat with the team.”

There is no need to register to attend the event. Please turn up between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and Care Navigators at the information desk will direct you where to go. The event will finish at 8pm.
