There’s still time to enter the ever-popular Frome Festival Quiz at the rugby club on Thursday 12th July, with a prompt start at 7.30pm. hosted as always by charismatic local quizmaster Paul Hewitt.
As well as receiving the prestigious Martin Bax Shield, to retain for a year and individual ones to keep, the winning team will also take home four bottles of wine donated from a Frome cellar! Prizes also for runners-up and the bottom two teams
The evening also features a grand raffle with prizes kindly given by local businesses, including a stunning plant from Barter’s Nurseries, a pack of elegant wine glasses and a meal voucher from a well-known Frome restaurant.
Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss your chance to compete against The Chocolate Teapots, Fanny the Wonder Dog and a team that comes regularly across the Severn Bridge from Monmouthshire, all former winners of this event. This is always a fun evening, with the bar in the rugby club open throughout.
