A MEMBER of Frome Cricket Club, 15-year-old Jack Palfrey, has been awarded a highly sought-after place on the local MCC foundation programme.
This is one of a number of programmes the MCC run to give talented young cricketers access to additional coaching and playing time with others in regional age group cricket.
“Since the age of 12, Jack has been part of the Frome Cricket Club youth development scheme,” says a spokesperson for the club. “In 2023 he became a regular opening bowler for our senior 2nd XI side and made his 1st XI senior debut in the National T20 competition.
“Congratulations to Jack and all of the club’s youth coaching team who have worked with Jack over the past few years.”
