Top class travel with that local touch

BUSINESS is starting to return to something like normal for local coach holiday company Lesmon Travel, run by husband-and-wife team Mark & Brigitte Wye, and this week sees the earliest ever launch of their new tour brochure, covering the end of this year through to February 2024.

But as always, “normal” is not something they like to deliver, so for the first time this year they have included a New Year spectacular tour to welcome in 2023.

“I have never run a New Year tour in my time in the business”, said Mark, “but after lots of persuasion from Brigitte and some of our regular customers, I have put together a tour to Great Yarmouth which not only celebrates New Year with a glass of bubbly but also includes a Midnight Buffet!” said Mark.

“We have also included several tours staying in 4-star hotels next year, as the few we have previously done were very popular. We are going to combine this with visit to places like Worcester, famed for its pottery, Blists Hill Victorian Village, the Severn Valley Railway, and several boat cruises. These will include the River Severn, Loch Lomond, and the River Avon.             “We are even doing two tours to Scotland next year, one is a luxury two centre tour, and the other is a Scenic Tour of the West of Scotland.

“For those looking to travel even further there will be a tour to Rouen, including a visit to Monet’s Garden and a Cruise and Drive tour to Cantabria and Green Spain.

“We understand that some passengers are still reluctant to travel abroad at the moment, so we have included a record number of UK tours, from Newquay to Inverness, from Llandudno to Great Yarmouth, Tenby to Eastbourne and many places in between.”

As always, Mark & Brigitte aim to provide their customers with a truly memorable great value holiday.

“We believe in making your holiday that extra bit special by providing a very personal level of service and, we like to think, a unique holiday experience, from our complimentary door- to-door pick up service, right through to our fully inclusive excursions on all tours.

“We have a relatively small catchment area, so our pick-ups for each tour generally take around an hour from start to finish, something many other companies simply cannot deliver. The coaches we use for our holidays are modern, with all the features you would expect, such as climate control, a toilet, and tea & coffee facilities. We don’t have any overnight travel on our tours, and make regular stops on the journeys, to make sure you get to enjoy your holiday in full, from the first day to the last.

“Peace of mind is also important to people booking their holiday and with this in mind we are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with the current ‘’The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations ‘ all passengers booking with Lesmon Travel are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid.

“We still have limited availability on the tours for the rest of 2022, and the 2023 tours have started selling well, so give us a call so you don’t miss out. To book a tour, for a copy of the full brochure or for more details on any of the tours please give us a call on 01373 472289 or visit www.lesmontravel.co.uk.”
