HUNTING Raven Books, Cheap Street in Frome was the venue for the official launch of an exciting charity fundraiser on Wednesday 6th November.
Award winning artist-illustrator-author Jackie Morris generously donated a painting of a Golden Hare to independent bookshop owners John and Caroline Birkett-Smith, with permission to reproduce it as a limited edition print to be sold in aid of local charities.
To ensure exclusivity only 60 giclee fine art prints have been produced, and following the launch enquiries have been flooding in from customers far and wide. Karin Campagna of Hunting Raven said, “We are delighted to be involved in this wonderful project, as are our customers. Weeks ago we received pre-orders without any publicity and today we’ve had orders via Twitter and FaceBook from all over the UK!”
Independent local businesses, Mary Kilvert and Studio Prints are also supporting the project with advice and services.
