FROME Carnival committee has announced the winning design for the front page of the carnival programme.
For the first year, the committee invited children from the Frome area to design the front page for the programme.
The lucky winners are sister Izzy and Ellie Carter who submitted a joint entry that impressed the judges. Carnival chairman, June Barnes said, “Ellie and Izzy’s entry really caught our eye because it is so colourful and really showed off all aspects of the carnival.
“It’s great to have the young people involved with the carnival and hopefully next year will have a lot more entries.
“As the Carnival gets closer we hope that everyone is looking forward to what we hope is a wonderful day for the town.
“If there is anyone that would like to help on the day please get in touch. We desperately need collectors and programme sellers.” Call 461625
