Artists in Frome are packing away their work hopefully feeling satisfied that they delivered another wonderful Frome Open Studios.
Caroline Walsh-Waring from the studio’s team said, “Each year we ask the artists to send us feedback but we would really like to hear from our visitors too. This all helps to improve the event year on year. We faced stiff competition from other Festival events this year like the Art Car Boot Sale and the Independent Market.
“We would like to hear if more weekday opening times would be welcome, perhaps a change of opening times? Did our visitors feel properly welcomed into each venue? Are there particular types of work the visitors would like to see more of?
“Do people prefer organised venues or artists homes and studios? Do people feel the artists are pricing their work correctly?
“After all, part of the reason for the event is to hopefully sell our work so we can afford to continue in this fantastic profession.
