Frome Friends of Palestine are pleased to welcome back to the Festival Jewish comedian, Ivor Dembina.
Ivor came to the Festival five years ago and the show was a sell-out. His solo comedy story traces his trajectory from a 60s Jewish childhood in Hendon, north London to the West Bank, where he witnessed first-hand, the realities of the Occupation. The journey’s outcome was this show; sad, angry, irreverent and funny in turns and lasts about an hour.
The event will take place at The Wheatsheaves Pub on 5th July. Before his set, a Middle Eastern buffet will be served. Tickets for the show are £8.00 (£6.00 conc.) and the show will start at 8.15pm. If you want to partake of the acclaimed Middle Eastern buffet, doors will open at 7.30. The buffet is not part of the ticket price but will be by donation. The profits will go to Medical Aid to Palestine and the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign. Tickets available from the Cheese and Grain.
