A small number of friends, headed by Joyce Jefferson, have over the past 22 years or so researched and published 5 histories of local parishes.
Their latest, A Window On Nunney and Trudoxhill, will be launched on Saturday 12th November.
“On the 12th come and see us in Nunney Village Hall from 11am until 3pm or at 1pm until about 4pm, at The White Hart in Trudoxhill,” they say.
“The book is only £10 and will also be on sale from Monday 14th November at Frome Museum, Hunting Raven Bookshop in Cheap Street; Spar Shop and The George in Nunney; Oldhams at Nunney Catch and in Trudoxhill at The White Hart.
“The group is comprised of enthusiastic amateurs who have not only done much research in Record Offices, Frome Library and Frome Museum but also enjoyed meeting the many local people who have shared their memories and photographs with us.”
