Academy’s Poetry Slam finalists

STUDENTS in year 5 at Oakfield Academy held a  Poetry Slam competition on 20th June.

The academy says, “The  judges – Mrs Perrett, Mrs Warren and Mrs Cowing – had the very difficult task of whittling down all of the entries to 12 children to enter the grand final, which will take place in front of parents on Thursday 5th July.

“Congratulations to everyone who entered—they all did a marvellous job and were a credit to Oakfield Academy.”
