A book-themed evening with bestselling author Libby Page is set to be hosted by a Frome book shop.
Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books is hosting an event at The Assembly Rooms on Thursday 12th February. There will be a discussion with Libby Page about her new novel, ‘This Book Made Me Think of You’ and what it’s like to run an independent bookshop.
There will be a special pre-loved book swap, a pop-up book-themed bookshop, plus a special prize draw to win a year-long Ravenous for Books Subscription.

Manager of Winstone’s Hunting Raven Book, Tina, said, “We will be celebrating all things bookish, diving into the enduring appeal of books set in bookshops, including Libby’s new novel, This Book Made Me Think of You.
“The book follows Matilda, a young widow struggling to come to terms with her loss and suffering from a serious – possibly permanent – reading slump. Then one dark January day, Tilly receives a phone call from her local bookshop notifying her that she has been gifted a year-long book subscription… from her dead husband. Can she rediscover the joy of living and of reading?
“If you love books and bookshops or simply need a handout of your own reading slump, then this event is for you.”
The event is at The Assembly Rooms behind the Memorial Theatre on Thursday 12th February, from 6.30pm. Tickets are £5 and can be booked online at winstonebooks.co.uk, by phone at 01373 473111 or in the shop on Cheap Street.
